What is Auxio?
Auxio is a social jukebox app for house parties, weddings, road trips, dorm rooms, and other group gatherings. It is not a shared playlist you all edit, and it is not a generic Spotify remote. It is a live party queue: guests search, request, and vote from their own phones. The host keeps the speakers.
People look for a Spotify party jukebox, an Apple Music song request app, or a YouTube jukebox for parties when they want the room to participate without passing around one phone. That is the problem Auxio is built to solve.
What is a social jukebox?
A social jukebox is a modern take on the classic bar jukebox. Instead of feeding coins into a machine, guests use a party code or QR invitation. They add song requests to a shared queue and vote so the group can influence what plays next. One person still hosts the music service and the speakers.
Auxio combines that jukebox idea with smartphones and streaming catalogs. The result is collaborative party music with a clear host: guests help pick the soundtrack, and nobody accidentally becomes the DJ.

How Auxio is different from a collaborative playlist
A collaborative Spotify playlist lets many accounts edit a list. That is useful for planning, and it is a poor fit for a live room: anyone can bury the vibe, skip is awkward, and guests still need matching accounts. A Blend or DJ mix is also not a party queue.
Auxio is a request-and-vote jukebox. Guests do not need a Spotify, YouTube, or Apple Music login that matches the host. They join with a short party code, pick a display name, and add requests. Playback stays on the host’s connected service, including speakers and Spotify Connect devices when the host uses Spotify.
